
Our Approach
Dr Koh is trained in and uses CTRT, Choice Theory Reality Therapy, as his base. To this are added concepts, strategies, and techniques from CBT, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, SFBT, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Narrative Therapy.
He adapts the different models and techniques of counselling to suit the needs of his clients. In addition, the traditional Chinese medical ideas and treatment of psycho-emotional-spiritual health are very much a part of his counselling work.
Dr Koh is a great example of ‘life-long learning’.
He is constantly seeking to improve himself for the benefit of his clients.
